From-scratch strawberry cake has always left me defeated because (1) the flavor is usually lackluster and (2) the texture is too wet from the strawberries. Strawberry cakes that have a delicious texture typically rely on artificial flavors. My goal was to produce a soft, fluffy, and moist strawberry cake made from real strawberries.
